Job Summary
Position patients for treatment with accuracy, administer prescribed radiation doses using advanced equipment, and perform regular equipment checks to ensure proper functionality. Review prescriptions and patient charts to confirm treatment plan compliance, conduct sessions independently under physician direction, and maintain detailed records of dosages and patient reactions. Adhere strictly to radiation protection principles for patient and staff safety while observing and reporting unusual patient responses. This 13-week travel assignment in Erie, Pennsylvania requires one year of recent experience and current BLS certification, with ARRT preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
