Job Summary
Administer prescribed doses of radiation to targeted body parts using advanced equipment according to established safety protocols. Position patients with precision to ensure effective treatment while minimizing exposure to healthy tissue. Conduct independent treatment sessions under physician direction, reviewing prescriptions and patient charts to confirm accuracy. Perform regular equipment checks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain detailed records of dosages and patient reactions. Observe patients during sessions, report unusual responses, and adhere to radiation protection principles for self and others. This 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Winchester, Massachusetts requires one year of recent experience and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
