Job Summary
Position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription, administer prescribed radiation doses using advanced equipment, and perform regular equipment checks to ensure functionality. Review prescriptions, diagnosis, and patient charts to confirm treatment plan compliance, then conduct sessions independently under physician direction while observing and reassuring patients during procedures. Maintain records including dosages and equipment settings, and report any unusual reactions to the physician. Follow radiation protection principles to ensure safety for patients, self, and others.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
