Job Summary
Position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription, administer prescribed radiation doses using advanced equipment, and perform regular equipment checks to ensure functionality. Review patient charts and prescriptions to confirm treatment plan compliance, follow radiation protection principles for patient and staff safety, and maintain detailed records of dosages and settings. Conduct independent treatment sessions under physician direction while observing and reassuring patients during procedures. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
