Job Summary
Position patients for treatment with accuracy, administer prescribed radiation doses using advanced equipment, and perform regular equipment checks to ensure functionality. Review prescriptions, diagnoses, and patient charts to confirm treatment plan compliance, then conduct sessions independently under physician direction. Maintain accurate records of dosages and settings while observing and reassuring patients during procedures. Follow strict radiation protection principles to ensure safety for patients, staff, and others. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses
