Job Summary
Position patients with precision, administer prescribed radiation doses, and operate advanced therapy equipment according to established safety protocols. Review prescriptions and patient charts to confirm treatment accuracy, conduct independent sessions under physician direction, and perform regular equipment checks. Maintain detailed records of dosages and settings while observing and reporting any unusual patient reactions. This 13-week assignment in Allentown, Pennsylvania, supports a dedicated clinical team delivering compassionate cancer care.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses
