Job Summary
Position patients for treatment with accuracy, administer prescribed radiation doses using advanced equipment, and perform regular equipment checks to ensure proper functionality. Review prescriptions, patient charts, and identification to confirm treatment plan compliance, while adhering to radiation protection principles for patient and staff safety. Conduct independent treatment sessions under physician direction, enter data into computer systems, and observe patients to report unusual reactions. Maintain required records including dosages and settings. This 13-week assignment in Atlanta, Georgia, supports a dedicated clinical team delivering compassionate cancer care.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
