Travel Psychiatrist

Conduct onsite rounding from 830 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday and manage 24-hour remote call coverage on weekends. Evaluate 12 to 16 patients per shift on an inpatient acute psychiatric unit and long-term facility, specializing in anxiety, affective disorders, and organic conditions. Provide ECT, pharmacotherapy, and group or family therapy while managing involuntary commitments and seclusion therapy. Complete assignment details and time entry via an online portal. Guaranteed 9.5 hours per onsite shift with paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour consultant access. Urgent backfill coverage is needed immediately.
