Job Summary
Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedules, confirm materials, and provide technical input for work plans. Evaluate daily performance against budget projections, update weekly schedules for reporting, and manage three-week work plans to mitigate delays. Initiate Requests for Information, remit accurate project quantities using cost coding, and coordinate subcontractor methods and crews. Review shop drawings, certificates, permits, and Job Hazard Analyses to ensure compliance and financial accuracy. This full-time traveling assignment supports an Advanced Technology project including Data Center segments, with a salary range of $96,000 to $130,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5+ years construction engineering experience
- Able to delegate and assign work to engineering team to progress the project production forward
- Advanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices
- Able to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays
- Knowledge of financial reporting methods, quantity tracking methods and cost coding
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in resource monitoring techniques (i.e. cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction technology, process systems and/or structures
- Specialized, technical knowledge of design build or other alternative build techniques
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred
