Job Summary
Deliver compassionate podiatric care in long-term care and senior living facilities by diagnosing, treating, and managing foot and lower limb conditions. Provide preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management, while educating patients and caregivers on foot health and mobility. Collaborate with facility staff to optimize patient outcomes and participate in Medicare quality programs. Document visits in NextGen EMR using a company-issued iPad. This role offers flexible scheduling with guaranteed patient volume from day one. Preferred Podiatry Group covers travel expenses, mileage, and multi-state licensing. Full administrative support includes scheduling, supplies, and billing. W-2 full-time providers receive medical, dental, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
- Active or eligible state licensure
- BLS certification
- Ability to lift/carry up to 15 lbs. as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings
- ACLS certification
