Job Summary
Greet customers courteously, process sales accurately using point-of-sale equipment, and perform till balancing at the start and end of each shift. Receive and stock merchandise following FIFO procedures while removing damaged or out-of-date items. Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms, and ensure cash drawer levels comply with policy. Monitor for retail theft, secure the premises at day's end, and report unsafe conditions to management. Physically capable of standing for long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Physically capable of standing for long hours
- Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures
- General knowledge of all point-of-sale equipment
- Knowledge of FIFO (first in first out) system
