Job Summary
Travel PICU RN required for a 13-week assignment in Albany, NY. The role involves delivering advanced pediatric critical care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents, performing comprehensive assessments, implementing complex care plans, administering medications, operating and troubleshooting advanced medical equipment (ventilators, central lines, hemodynamic monitors), monitoring vital signs, responding to life-threatening situations, educating patients and families, documenting assessments, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Strong pediatric critical care skills, clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork are essential. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification
