Job Summary
Travel PICU RN provides advanced pediatric critical care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in a high-acuity setting. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, implementing complex care plans, administering treatments, operating and troubleshooting advanced medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, central lines, hemodynamic monitors), coordinating with multidisciplinary medical teams, documenting assessments and care, ensuring patient safety and infection control, and educating patients and families within hospital policy. The position is a 13-week travel assignment in Charlotte, NC, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification
