Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position for a 13-week assignment in Dunn, NC. Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, the PTA implements treatment plans, guides patients through prescribed exercises, documents progress, educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, collaborates with the healthcare team, and supports discharge planning. Responsibilities include setting up therapy equipment, assisting with mobility, strength, balance and activities of daily living, maintaining infection control and safety standards, and contributing to quality assurance and professional development. Required skills include critical thinking, interpersonal communication, English-language proficiency, and PC literacy; physical abilities to move and position patients/equipment; and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team. Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant and current BLS certification are required; graduates may apply.
