Job Summary

Conduct patient therapy sessions by guiding individuals through prescribed exercises, administering modalities, and assisting with transfers to improve mobility and reduce pain. Set up treatment areas, ensure equipment is calibrated, and maintain a safe environment adhering to infection control protocols. Document patient progress, educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, and collaborate with the physical therapy team to coordinate comprehensive care and discharge planning. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice while working under close supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy
  • Physical Therapy Assistant experience
