Job Summary

Implement treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and enhance functional independence through hands-on assistance with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and activities of daily living. Guide patients through prescribed movements and transfers while documenting progress, educating caregivers on home exercise programs, and collaborating with the physical therapy team to coordinate comprehensive care. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and assisting with equipment setup and calibration. This 13-week travel assignment in Hayesville, North Carolina requires a valid PTA license and BLS certification, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy
