Job Summary
Conduct patient mobility and pain reduction therapy under Physical Therapist supervision, implementing treatment plans that enhance functional independence. Guide patients through prescribed exercises, modalities, and activities of daily living while providing hands-on assistance with transfers. Document progress, educate patients on home programs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care and discharge planning. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and quality assurance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy
- Physical Therapy Assistant experience
- Critical thinking
