Travel Physical Therapist

Job Summary
Review and evaluate patient medical records to determine required Physical Therapy programs, then administer prescribed treatments using therapeutic modalities to restore function and prevent disability. Coordinate services with Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and Nursing while supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and maintaining accurate clinical and billing documentation. Communicate treatment goals to patients, families, and the rehabilitation team, adhering to all company policies and productivity standards. Available for 13-week internal contracts with a one-year continuous assignment guarantee, this role includes a monthly living stipend and full-time benefits. Candidates must provide their own transportation between visits and be willing to travel to any Symbria location within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy
- A valid registered license is required for Symbria's operating states, or the ability to obtain a license or compact license to support assignments in any designated state
- If using a compact license, must have a full license in your state of residence
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and basic math skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with strong focus on customer service
- Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to provide own transportation between patient visits and travel assignments
- Available and willing to travel to any location where Symbria provides contracted therapy services
