Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) assignment in Madison, AL. You’ll work 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, on a travel contract with 13-week (and options for 26 weeks) durations. Responsibilities include helping patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions in a geriatric, long-term care setting, with documentation in electronic medical records. Requirements include a Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, active Alabama PT license, and BLS may be required; SNF/geriatric experience and the ability to float to nearby facilities are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Alabama Physical Therapy license
- BLS certification may be required
- Experience working in a SNF or long-term care setting preferred
- Prior experience with geriatric populations and restorative therapy programs preferred
- Documentation in electronic medical record systems
- Willingness to float to other nearby facilities as needed
- PT or PTA credentials accepted; PT preferred
