Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) employed by Fusion Medical Staffing, 13-week assignment in Lancaster, CA. The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life across hospital, clinic, and rehabilitation settings. Develops personalized, evidence-based rehabilitation plans using exercise and manual therapy; operates and maintains PT equipment; documents evaluations and outcomes; collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure coordinated care; educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management; adheres to infection control and safety standards; participates in discharge planning and ongoing professional development. Requires a valid PT license, and current BLS certification; Doctorate degree is preferred. Strong clinical skills, communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to high-quality patient care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Doctorate degree is preferred for this position
- Physical Therapy experience (New Grads welcome to apply)
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
