Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients to improve mobility and reduce pain using evidence-based plans including exercise and manual therapy. Works in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers; develops personalized rehabilitation programs; collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians; educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management; maintains documentation and adheres to infection control and regulatory standards; strong clinical skills, communication, critical thinking, and commitment to high-quality, safe patient care. Relevant skills include evaluation using standardized tests, treatment implementation, equipment operation, discharge planning, and coordination of care with a multidisciplinary team.
