Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Hampton, Georgia. The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life, working in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. They create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to help patients recover and become independent, requiring strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to high-quality, safe patient care. Essential duties include evaluating patient conditions with standardized tests and history, developing rehabilitation programs, implementing PT treatments, operating therapy equipment, documenting evaluations and outcomes, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, maintaining infection control and safety standards, pursuing quality assurance and professional development, and assisting with discharge planning for transitions to community or home-based settings. The role also emphasizes the ability to read/write English, adhere to instructions, and proficient PC skills. Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
