Job Summary
Evaluate patients' physical conditions using standardized tests and clinical examinations to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals, implementing treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, while assessing progress, adjusting plans, and documenting outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention, and maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection control protocols. This 13-week travel assignment in Paducah, Kentucky, requires a valid PT license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
