Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 26-week assignment in Greenbelt, Maryland. The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Develops personalized rehabilitation programs and implements PT treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to aid recovery. Works with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care; educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management strategies. Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, interventions, and outcomes; adheres to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards while supporting discharge planning and transitions to community or home-based settings. Requires valid PT license and current BLS certification; Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred. Strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to high-quality, safe patient care are essential.
