Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Abington, MA. Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Develops personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy; collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals; documents evaluations, interventions, and outcomes; educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and prevention. Requires valid MA PT license and current BLS; Doctorate in physical therapy preferred; New grads welcome. Strong clinical skills, communication, critical thinking, and commitment to safe patient care are essential. Ability to operate PT equipment, adhere to infection control and regulatory standards, and participate in discharge planning and quality assurance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
