Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) opportunity in New Smyrna Beach, FL for a 10-week assignment. The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Develops personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals, implements treatment plans using exercises and manual therapy, and educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, and injury prevention. Maintains a safe environment with infection control standards, collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other professionals, contributes to discharge planning, and participates in quality assurance and professional development. Requires current physical therapy license and BLS; Doctorate degree is preferred. Strong clinical skills, communication, critical thinking, and commitment to high-quality, safe patient care are essential, along with the ability to document evaluations and outcomes and work with a multidisciplinary team.
