Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based rehabilitation programs using exercise and manual therapy to help patients recover and become independent. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care; educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management; maintain documentation; adhere to infection-control protocols and regulatory standards; participate in discharge planning and quality improvement initiatives. Travel 13-week assignment in Shepherdsville, KY. Requires a valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
