Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist role performing evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment of physical impairments to improve mobility and independence across hospital, clinic, and rehabilitation settings. Develops personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals, implements physical therapy treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy, operates specialized equipment, documents evaluations and outcomes, and collaborates with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment results. Educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to promote long-term recovery. Maintains a safe treatment environment with infection control and regulatory adherence, engages in quality assurance and professional development, and participates in discharge planning for smooth transitions. Requires valid PT license and current BLS; Doctorate degree preferred; PT experience preferred (new grads welcome).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
