Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. In a 13-week travel assignment, the role involves developing personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments, implementing treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy, operating and maintaining equipment safely, documenting evaluations and outcomes, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other therapists, educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention, adhering to infection control and safety standards, engaging in quality assurance and professional development, and assisting in discharge planning to support transitions in community or home-based settings. Essential skills include critical thinking, excellent interpersonal communication, strong English reading/writing, ability to follow instructions, PC proficiency, physical capabilities to handle equipment and patient movement, and the ability to work under varying schedules while maintaining attention to detail.
