Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital setting for a 13-week assignment in Bowling Green, KY. You will perform PT evaluations, set goals, document functional outcomes, participate in interdisciplinary discharge planning, and deliver individual, concurrent, and group treatments. Must have a PT degree (BS/MS/PhD), Kentucky PT license, BLS, and experience in inpatient rehab/acute care. Role may involve floating to other facilities within the client network. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, long term acute care, or similar acute care/complex rehab settings is required
- Competency in comprehensive PT evaluation, goal writing, functional outcome assessment, and discharge planning per facility standards
- Documentation experience using electronic medical records, including daily notes, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient and caregiver education, including home exercise programs
- Maintains professional licensure in good standing and meets state continuing education requirements
- Preferred: Experience with safe patient handling equipment and working with medically complex or ventilator-dependent patients
