Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Starke, FL performing outpatient orthopedic therapy under a licensed PT. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 10–12 patients per day, conducting 1-hour evaluations, and collaborating with a four-therapist clinic team and a full-time technician. Requires APTA-approved PTA associate degree, active Florida PTA license, and BLS. EMR proficiency with Clinicient and WebPT is preferred. Travel assignment spans 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with daytime shifts; pediatrics covered by another therapist. Resume submission required to begin credentialing. Benefits discussed by recruiter. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Florida PTA license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics required
- Candidate must be comfortable managing a caseload averaging 10–12 patients per day
- Experience using Clinicient and WebPT EMR systems preferred
- Experience working with a therapy team in clinics that include dedicated full-time technicians preferred
