Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist Assistant needed for an inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Kyle, TX. 13-week travel role, 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, providing direct patient care under a licensed Physical Therapist in an inpatient hospital rehab setting. Responsibilities include collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, documentation in an electronic health record, and delivering focused interventions for patients recovering from neurological and orthopedic conditions and general deconditioning. Willingness to backfill a JTP candidate; 6.5–7 hours of direct patient care per day is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required or may be required
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred and relevant to setting
- Experience treating patients with stroke and Parkinson's disease preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record systems; experience with WellSky preferred
- Current resume required for submission
