Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating and treating patients with disabilities, injuries, and/or diseases in an outpatient setting. Administers direct patient care in accordance with the prescription of the referring physician or state-authorized practitioner; designs and implements a treatment program, monitors patient tolerance, and modifies plans as needed. Maintains complete medical records, submits required documentation, participates in quality improvement activities, and attends family meetings with the inter-disciplinary team. Requires a Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) and current New York State licensure as a Physical Therapist, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Additional Radiologic Technology qualifications are listed in the posting (graduate of a Radiologic Technology program, NY licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT registration, and radiologic-exams experience). The role is based in Rhinebeck, NY with exact travel expectations implied by “Travel” PT.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Specialized certifications as needed
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT registration
- Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams
