Job Summary
Evaluate patients and develop, modify, and execute care plans for diverse populations in acute care settings. Oversee physical therapist assistants and support staff while billing in compliance with facility guidelines. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused care. Utilize adaptive equipment and Medical Center computer systems for timely documentation adhering to state and insurance regulations. Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology while complying with respective PT board rules. Requires one year of experience (six months acceptable for exceptional candidates), BLS certification, and state-specific licensing.
