Job Summary
The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, they create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to help patients recover and become independent. This 13-week travel assignment in Southport, North Carolina requires a valid Physical Therapy license and BLS certification; Doctorate degree is preferred. Strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to high-quality, safe patient care are essential. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing rehabilitation programs, implementing PT treatment plans, operating PT equipment, documenting outcomes, collaborating with healthcare professionals, educating patients/caregivers, ensuring infection control and safety, pursuing quality assurance and professional development, and assisting with discharge planning. Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
