Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week contract in an acute care hospital setting. Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment across outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled units with an average of 8 patients treated per day. Work Monday–Friday, 9-hour days (36 hours/week) with no weekend or holiday coverage. Charting is performed in MatrixCare/Matrix EMR. Requires an active PT license and current BLS certification; driver’s license is required for consideration. Open to first-time travelers with training provided. No PT aides or PTAs on staff. Prefer 1 year of PT experience; strong orientation to outpatient and inpatient rehab settings and documentation proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license required; pending licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS certification required; pending certifications are not accepted
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references: one supervisor within last 12 months, one supervisor/peer within last 3 years with dates and eligibility for rehire
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates may be considered as training provided
Additional Requirements
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible
