Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in a Rockford, IL facility. Provides care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring, cardiac-focused interventions, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include interpreting telemetry data, administering prescribed medications and treatments, preparing equipment for cardiac procedures, monitoring patient comfort and safety, documenting nursing assessments, initiating education plans focused on cardiac health, and adhering to hospital safety and infection-control standards. Requires critical thinking, English communication, PC skills, and ability to work with diverse personnel; physical requirements include lifting and mobility for equipment and patients.
