Job Summary
Travel PCU Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Responsible for monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, administering prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care, preparing equipment for cardiac procedures, maintaining patient safety and comfort, documenting nursing assessments, educating patients on cardiac health and lifestyle factors, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Requires 1 year of Stepdown experience, active RN license in Wisconsin, BLS and ACLS certifications; PCCN/NIHSS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
