Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Beckley, WV. Provides care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical or general inpatient units with frequent monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. Responsibilities include interpreting telemetry data, administering prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care, preparing equipment for cardiac-related procedures, monitoring patient comfort and safety, documenting nursing history and assessments, responding to life-saving situations, initiating patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle factors, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry patient care. Requires critical thinking, strong interpersonal and English-language communication skills, PC skills, and ability to handle variable schedules and high-pressure environments. Other duties as assigned; adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
