Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, prepare equipment for cardiac procedures, and observe patients to record conditions and notify the physician of status changes. Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing protocols, document nursing history and physical assessments, and initiate patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols. This 13-week travel assignment in Rock Island, Illinois, requires current Stepdown RN experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
