Job Summary
Travel PCU Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Harrisonburg, VA. Provides care to telemetry/stepdown patients, monitors cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care, assists during cardiac-related procedures, maintains patient safety and comfort, documents nursing history and assessments, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN and NIHSS certifications preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; must meet English-language proficiency and technical/physical requirements.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
