Job Summary
Travel Stepdown RN responsible for telemetry-focused care as patients transition from ICU to medical-surgical or general units. Provide cardiac-focused nursing with monitoring of rhythms and vitals, administer medications and treatments, prepare equipment for cardiac procedures, supervise safety and confidentiality, educate patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Required skills include critical thinking, clear English communication, reading/writing, and proficiency with PC tools; must meet physical demands and adapt to varied schedules. Includes travel benefits and licensure/CEU reimbursement; 13-week assignment in Wichita Falls, TX.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
