Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, prepare equipment for cardiac procedures, and maintain patient comfort and safety. Assess and manage complex needs for patients transitioning from intensive care, documenting history and initiating education plans focused on cardiac health. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care while adhering to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards. This 13-week travel assignment in Saint Charles, Missouri, offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for a skilled Stepdown RN.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
