Job Summary
Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA; monitors telemetry and cardiac rhythms, administers medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care, aids in cardiac-related procedures and examinations, maintains patient safety and comfort, documents nursing history and physical assessments, initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive telemetry care.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Preferred Qualifications: Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
- NIHSS Certification
