Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while preparing equipment for physician-led cardiac procedures. Assess patients transitioning from intensive care, document history and physicals, and initiate education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and maintain patient confidentiality. Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards. Requires one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Located in Providence, Rhode Island for a 13-week travel assignment.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
