Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while preparing equipment for physician-led cardiac procedures. Assess patients transitioning from intensive care, document history and physical assessments, and initiate individualized education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage complex needs and respond to life-saving situations per nursing protocols. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control guidelines. Requires one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
