Job Summary
Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Provides care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units with frequent monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. Administers prescribed medications and treatments focused on cardiac care; prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures/examinations; monitors telemetry data and patient status; documents nursing assessments; initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications; collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care; adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Required: one year of Stepdown RN experience, RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN, NIHSS certifications; other certifications/licenses may be required.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
