Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse needed for a 15-week assignment in Rapid City, SD. Provides care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units with frequent monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. Responsibilities include interpreting telemetry data, administering medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care, assisting during cardiac-related procedures, educating patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Requires critical thinking, strong communication, English proficiency, and ability to work with diverse clinical staff; physical and mental demands include mobility, lifting, and flexible scheduling.
