Job Summary
Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Newark, NJ. Provides care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, with emphasis on telemetry monitoring and cardiac care. Administers medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care, and adheres to hospital safety and regulatory standards. Requires one year of stepdown experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications; PCCN/NIHSS certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
