Job Summary
Travel Stepdown RN providing care for telemetry patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, administering prescribed medications with a focus on cardiac care, preparing equipment for cardiac-related procedures, observing and documenting patient status, responding to life-threatening events, educating patients on cardiac health, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. Requires nursing licensure and current BLS/ACLS, with preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications; 13-week travel assignment in Petoskey, MI with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
